About SMFF
SMFF is a non-profit trade organization representing approximately 80 music publishers working in the territory of Scandinavia including Greenland and the Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania). SMFF was founded in 1928 and are one of founders of the Swedish collecting society STIM.

SMFF is involved in all areas concerning music publishing and represent and inform its members on issues such as copyright law and regulations, new media and technologies and the Swedish music industry in general.
SMFF is a member of ICMP, The International Confederation of Music Publishers, an umbrella trade organization working from Brussels.
Events
Once every month SMFF book unsigned and independent artists and bands to the live club Almost Famous in Stockholm. There the acts can not only play for an audience of music lovers but also mingle with representatives from the Swedish music industry.
SMFF is also the organizer of the Annual Music Publishers Award that honors Swedish songwriters, lyricists and composers of both popular and classical music.
